The Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1756-A7 chassis is a small compact chassis designed specifically for the Allen Bradley ControlLogix system.This chassis is one of the smallest ControlLogix chassis currently available,with only 2 installation tabs at the top and 2 installation tabs at the bottom.The 1756-A7 chassis can be installed with or without 2 SEM screws,but if SEM screws are not used during installation,in addition to 2 flat washers and 2 open lock washers,2 star washers are also required.Additionally,if the chassis does not have SEM screws,4 Phillips screws are required,but if SEM screws are used,only 2 Phillips screws are required.The 1756-A7 chassis is an open device without a casing for protection.

Allen Bradley 1756-A7 is a seven(7)slot chassis for the ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controller(PAC)platform.This hardware is an important component of building a ControlLogix control system as a chassis,such as the 1756-A7,which provides backplane connections and allows modules to be installed in the provided module slots.
The 1756-A7 also has a power installation slot located on the far left side of the chassis.This chassis supports ultra-thin,standard,and power supplies.
