  The VMIVME-7698 VMIVME-017614-132 module is a single shot Celeron model socket 370 processor based on a VMEBUS single board computer.This model can be used,just like the operating system supports systems based on Windows new machines and Windows 2000,as well as Linux systems,VX engineering systems,QNX systems,and solar system systems.

  The design of the VMIVME-7698 VMIVME-017614-132 unit has several special functions,such as up to 512 megabytes(selectable format)and up to 3 programmable 16 bit timer modules.A 32 kilobyte battery supports SRAM memory.

  This unit can support boot for remote Ethernet connections.There is also a software selectable watchdog timer with reset function.It can support a VMEBUSP-2 connection to a high-definition/floppy drive.

  The standard features of this unit include a basic socket 370 processor module and a pair of high-performance 16550 compatible serial ports.There is also a PS/2 style keyboard and mouse port integrated into the front panel of these models.
