  The power supply required for the MKS Instruments 223B Baratron pressure sensor is 11-18 VDC,with screw terminal isolation and electrical connection.The maximum pressure line for 223B is 40 psig.

  MKS 223 Baratron®Universal differential pressure transmitters provide a reliable,accurate,and cost-effective solution for measuring low differential pressure generated by airflow in HVAC and cleanroom applications.

  The 223 all metal sensor adopts variable capacitance technology,which includes a pre tensioned metal diaphragm.One side of the diaphragm is exposed to the gas under the pressure to be measured(Px side).The other side(reference side or Pr side)is adjacent to the electrode component terminated at another similar port.The diaphragm deflects with the change of pressure difference,causing a change in capacitance between the diaphragm and adjacent electrode components.

  Then,this capacitance change generates an AC voltage,which is converted into a high-level DC voltage output by the 223 signal regulator,linearly related to pressure,and calibrated according to pressure standards.Operation 223 requires an MKS power supply/readout module or a user provided±11 to 18VDC power supply.
